Teaching a Group Lesson

I am teaching beginning students to hold out their arms to achieve balance.
The child in pink is mimicking my movements while the other child is not quite sure yet.
In these photos I am teamed with another coach.
On the right I am starting to demonstrate a dip, which looks like the skater is sitting on an invisible chair. This movement helps beginners to bend their knees and balance in another position.
It is also a precursor for shoot-the-duck.
Guiding my class of beginners across the ice.
